She has been a sub with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic and the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs.Ĭhamber music has always been a passion of Ms. She can also be heard performing as co-principal flute with the Pueblo Symphony and with the Steamboat Springs Symphony. Artley is the Adjunct Instructor of Flute at Colorado State University-Pueblo.
She was also a featured soloist at the National Flute Association convention, and multiple featured solo performances at the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic in Chicago.Ĭurrently, Ms. As a flute soloist, she was frequently featured in performances with “Pershing’s Own” Concert Band and Chamber Orchestra in such renowned venues as the Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, Avery Fischer Hall, and Constitution Hall.
During those years she performed for countless audiences across the U.S., Europe, and China. Andrea Artley is an accomplished professional flutist who spent over 26 years as Assistant Principal and Principal Flute of The United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own” in Washington D.C.
